Job summary

Danfoss in Plymouth, MN is seeking a Customer Service professional to act as the primary contact for customers, handling inquiries and orders with proactive communication via email, phone, and portal updates.

Role requires 3+ years in customer service, strong communication, and proficiency in MS Office. SAP familiarity is a plus; the salary range is 58–65K with relocation sponsorship not provided.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED, some college preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years-experience in a customer service role.
• Strong and proven communication skills (oral & written) and the customer service mentality to help others.

Responsibilities

• Primary contact for the customer and provide timely information to them.
• Deploy a proactive approach with our customers via email, phone, and some customer portal updating to assist them in their inquiries.
• Manage customer orders, ensuring they are processed in a timely and accurate manner.
• Work closely with our Sales Account Managers, Plant Personnel, and your Customer Service colleagues as needed.
• Have proficiency using our ERP/CRM/Pricing systems, internal information portals, EDI process report reviews, and other product information processes.
• There is an avenue to support/manage customer escalations with your Manager, as we work together promoting quality and continuous improvements.
• Possess the skill to be an active listener and have strong relationship building skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work on many different processes simultaneously for our customers.
