Job summary

Buyers Barricades, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Representative to deliver an exceptional experience by providing product information, taking orders, and processing returns. The role operates in a professional office environment with standard office equipment, Monday through Friday, 7 a.m.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service experience.
• Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to multitask.
• Strong communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and team-oriented qualities.

Responsibilities

• Answer customer calls for price quotes, purchase orders, change orders, and cancellations.
• Handle inbound, unsolicited prospect calls.
• Assist walk-in customers when applicable.
• Dispatch field crews for after-hours emergency calls (taking phones).
• Achieve and maintain rapport with customers to give them the best possible service.
• Follow up with customers to ensure overall satisfaction.
• Work closely with the Operations department regarding scheduling.
• Collaborate with outside sales rep to determine necessary strategic sales approaches.
• Partner with Accounting to ensure new accounts are setup in a timely manner.
• Accurate file and document maintenance.
• Maintain knowledge on product lines and industry standards.
• Prepare appropriate reports in a timely manner.
