Meenan in Hopewell Junction, NY is seeking a Customer Care Agent to handle inbound and outbound calls, provide consultation on pricing, service plans and billing issues, and deliver exceptional service to an established customer base.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in a customer-facing role, strong communication and active listening skills, and must be flexible for weekday and weekend shifts; this full-time position offers $18.00–$20.00 per hour plus benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1-2 years in a customer-facing role; prior experience in a customer service setting preferred
• Ability to work well in a fast paced environment
• Excellent telephone skills
• Strong troubleshooting abilities
• Computer proficient
• Must be flexible for weekday and weekend shifts

Responsibilities

• Taking incoming calls from customers and making outbound follow-up calls for upselling purposes
• Identifying and acting upon potential new sales opportunities
• Assisting with pricing, service plan payments and billing issues
• Working with other departments to ensure timely resolution of customer issues
• Negotiating customer prices and service plans in line with company guidelines
