Job summary

NXT Recruitment is partnering with a well-established business to recruit a Customer Care Assistant in Carlisle. You will be the first point of contact for customers, handling enquiries, resolving issues, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver an outstanding service. Full training and support are provided.

The role suits those with customer service experience or those seeking a trainee pathway. A 40-hour week, Monday to Friday, in a permanent full-time position with salary

Qualifications

• Previous customer service or customer-facing experience is preferred.
• GCSEs (or equivalent), including English and Maths.
• Experience using CRM or customer management systems.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for customer enquiries via telephone and email.
• Manage customer queries from initial contact through to resolution.
• Follow up on outbound customer communications.
• Liaise with internal departments to resolve customer issues efficiently.
• Produce customer reports accurately and within required deadlines.
