Job summary

Citizens is hiring bank staff to serve as brand ambassadors in branches, focusing on building lasting relationships with customers through trusted advice. The role emphasizes helping clients with spending, saving, borrowing and investing, while introducing digital banking options.

You will collaborate with Wealth Management, Mortgage, and Business Banking teams, make outbound calls to grow the customer base, and ensure adherence to all policies and local regulations.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED required.
• 2 years of sales and customer service experience.
• Ability to effectively ask questions and identify needs to improve the customer relationship.
• Proven success with building relationships, and recommending and referring products and services through in-person and phone interactions.
• Demonstrated skills in using digital technology to support the delivery of business goals.
• Aptitude to problem solve and provide solutions to customer issues.
• Recognized ability to strengthen relationships with teammates, business partners and specialists through collaboration.
• Self-motivated, confident and ability to multitask effectively.
• Ability to work branch hours, which can include weekends and evenings.
• Meet and comply with all requirements set forth in the SAFE Act, including, but not limited to successful completion of the pre-employment screening checks and obtaining a unique identifier from the

Responsibilities

• Provide financial advice and recommendations to customers and troubleshoot needs.
• Assist customers with spending, saving, borrowing and investing needs.
• Introduce customers to digital and mobile-first ways to handle banking (apps, ATMs).
• Collaborate with Wealth Management, Mortgage and Business Banking teams for complex needs.
• Make outbound calls to acquire new customers and schedule financial checkup appointments.
• Ensure compliance with all financial policies and procedures.
