Job summary

Aaron’s is seeking a Customer Accounts Advisor in Springfield, MA. The role focuses on coaching customers to drive payments and lease renewals, building relationships over the phone and in person to move customers toward ownership of their merchandise.

The position offers an hourly rate of $17.00–$18.00 with potential for performance-based incentive pay and a comprehensive benefits package. Candidates must meet location qualifications and be able to work varied hours in-store.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old in the US; 18+ in Canada.
• Requires a valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must be able to be DOT certified if required at location.
• Able to work hours from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs alone and up to 300 lbs with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Customer Accounts Manager in setting and achieving daily, weekly and monthly revenue and renewal goals.
• Maintain accurate customer account records in the store system, including payment appointments and account history.
• Build strong customer relationships to support ownership goals and drive sales.
• Manage collections and renewals by counseling customers and contacting those with expired or unrenewed agreements by phone or home visits, as required.
• Assist with merchandise returns and guest deliveries as directed by management.
• Maintain accurate daily route sheets and weekly maintenance sheets.
• Load and safely secure product, operate the company vehicle, and certify returned merchandise.
