Job description

The hourly range for this position is $12.25 to $13.00. This position is also eligible for incentive pay based on performance.

Customer Accounts Advisor

Aaron’s Customer Account Advisors serve as coaches to our customers, driving payment collections and lease agreement renewals by understanding lease agreement benefits and ensuring customers are 100% satisfied with the product. As a Customer Account Advisor, you will build relationships with our customers over the phone and face-to-face to help bring them one step closer to ownership.

Strong multi-tasking, organizational, negotiation, and persuasion skills are essential. The Work
  • Maintain and update customer accounts, including documenting all payment appointments.
  • Contact customers who have not renewed their lease agreements via home visits and phone calls.
  • Encourage customers to make timely lease agreement renewal payments.
  • Assist the Customer Account Manager in achieving revenue and renewal goals.
  • Support merchandise returns and guest deliveries as directed.
  • Certify merchandise in the Quality Assurance Center for returned items.
  • Complete weekly vehicle maintenance and route sheets daily.
  • Load, secure, and protect products in company vehicles.
  • Operate company vehicles safely.
  • Assist the Sales Team as needed.
  • Perform any additional duties as requested by management.
Requirements
  • United States: at least 21 years old, valid driver’s license, and compliance with Driver Qualification Policy, including satisfactory MVR; Canada: at least 18 years old.
  • Must meet DOT certification requirements in applicable states.
  • Ability to work flexible hours between 8 am and 9 pm.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unaided and up to 300 lbs. with assistance.
  • Preferred: two years of retail/customer service experience.
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High energy and ability to multitask effectively.
  • Proper telephone etiquette.
  • Uphold Aaron’s brand and protect company assets.
  • Maintain a professional appearance.
  • Proficient computer skills.
