The hourly range for this position is $12.25 to $13.00. This position is also eligible for incentive pay based on performance.

Customer Accounts Advisor

Aaron’s Customer Account Advisors serve as coaches to our customers, driving payment collections and lease agreement renewals by understanding lease agreement benefits and ensuring customers are 100% satisfied with the product. As a Customer Account Advisor, you will build relationships with our customers over the phone and face-to-face to help bring them one step closer to ownership.

The Work

  1. Maintain and update customer accounts, including accurate documentation of payment appointments.
  2. Contact customers who have not renewed their lease agreements via home visits and phone calls.
  3. Encourage timely lease agreement renewal payments by explaining benefits.
  4. Assist in achieving revenue and renewal goals set by the Customer Account Manager.
  5. Support merchandise returns and guest deliveries as directed.
  6. Certify merchandise in the Quality Assurance Center for returned items.
  7. Complete weekly vehicle maintenance and route sheets daily.
  8. Load, secure, and protect products in the company vehicle.
  9. Operate company vehicle safely.
  10. Assist the Sales Team as needed.
  11. Perform any other duties reasonably requested by management.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years old in the U.S. with a valid driver’s license and meet the Company’s Driver Qualification Policy, including a satisfactory MVR. In Canada, at least 18 years old.
  • Must meet DOT certification requirements for applicable states.
  • Ability to work varying hours from 8 am to 9 pm.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unaided and up to 300 lbs. with assistance.
  • Preferred: Two years of retail or customer service experience.
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High energy, multitasking ability, and professional appearance.
  • Proper telephone etiquette.
  • Uphold Aaron’s brand and protect company assets.
  • Proficient computer skills.
