Customer Accounts Advisor

Hiring Range: $13.75 - $14.50

This position is also eligible for incentive pay based on performance.

Aaron's Customer Account Advisors serve as coaches to our customers, driving payment collections and lease agreement renewals by understanding lease agreement benefits and ensuring customer satisfaction. As a Customer Account Advisor, you will build relationships with customers over the phone and face-to-face to help bring them closer to ownership.

The Work
  • Manage and update customer accounts, maintaining accurate information and documenting all payment appointments.
  • Contact customers who have not renewed their lease agreements, via home visits and phone calls.
  • Promote the benefits of timely lease renewal payments.
  • Assist the Customer Account Manager in achieving revenue and renewal goals.
  • Support merchandise returns and guest deliveries as directed.
  • Ensure merchandise is cleaned and certified in the Quality Assurance Center.
  • Maintain weekly vehicle maintenance and route sheets daily.
  • Load, secure, and protect products in company vehicles.
  • Operate company vehicles safely.
  • Assist the Sales Team as needed.
  • Perform any additional duties as requested by management.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 21 years old in the U.S. with a valid driver's license and meet the company's Driver Qualification Policy, including a satisfactory MVR; in Canada, at least 18 years old.
  • Must meet DOT certification requirements in applicable states.
  • Ability to work varying hours from 8 am to 9 pm.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unaided and up to 300 lbs. with assistance.
  • Preferred: Two years of retail/customer service experience.
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Energetic with the ability to multitask effectively across store functions.
  • Proper telephone etiquette.
  • Uphold Aaron's brand and protect company assets.
  • Maintain a professional appearance.
  • Proficient in computer skills.
