Job summary

Loparex in Cary, NC seeks a Customer Account Associate to manage orders, respond to inquiries, and maintain strong customer relationships across functions.

This role requires 3–5 years in manufacturing customer service, experience with Salesforce/SAP is a plus, and proven problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills. You will collaborate with sales, manufacturing, and R&D to ensure a seamless experience for customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or the equivalent experience.
• 3 to 5 years of customer service and account support/management experience in the manufacturing industry.
• Experience with Salesforce and/or SAP a plus.
• Excellent written and oral communication, the ability to build collaborative relationships with Loparex team and customers.
• Proven analytical problem solving, math skills, and manufacturing systems and communications skills to quickly resolve time-sensitive issues.
• The ability to be self-directed to work toward corporate and business unit objectives.
• Flexibility to provide support on business initiatives and execute implementation processes.
• Solid organizational, communication, and follow-up skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls, order entry and maintenance, customer account maintenance.
• Liaison with customer base, sales force, manufacturing, R&D, marketing and other departments.
• Investigate complaints to resolve customer issues; assist in preparation of credit memos for price adjustments and other administrative errors.
• Work cohesively with Demand Planning, customers and warehouses on inventoried items.
• Work with Global Price Team and sales on price masters; maintain systems accurately.
• Coordinate changes with supply chain buyer/planners on customer orders.
• Assist in developing, establishing, and maintaining standard practices and procedures for customer service.
• Process regulatory and other requests through Salesforce.
• Work with Master Data Management Team on material and customer master information.
• Assist with team coverage when other staff are out of office.
• Travel as needed to manufacturing locations and customer base.
