Job summary

Peak Industrial Group is hiring a Customer Account Representative in Clermont, FL. You will serve as the main contact for customers, respond to inquiries, and prepare quotes for power transmission products.

You’ll coordinate with vendors, manage orders from quote to delivery, and build strong long-term relationships with distributors and customers. The role requires strong communication, organization, and bilingual English/Spanish abilities.

Qualifications

  • Experience in customer service, account management, inside sales, or a related role preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organization, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Consistent follow-up habits and a dependable work style.
  • Ability to build professional, long-term customer relationships.

  • Familiarity with NetSuite, QuickBooks, or another ERP system is a plus.
  • Industrial distribution, manufacturing, or power transmission experience is helpful but not required.
  • Bilingual English and Spanish abilities are a plus.

Peak Industrial Group is a sister company of USA Rollerchain and Sprocket - a fast-growing, family-owned power transmission distributor headquartered in Clermont, Florida- and we have been powering American industry since 2001. We supply roller chains, sprockets, bearings, motors, and other power transmission products to customers across the country. We operate alongside our sister company, Peak Industrial Group is a family-owned manufacturer, serving its own high-quality product lines to distributors, resellers, and OEMs since 2021. The selected candidate will work directly with customers and vendors on the Peak Industrial Group side of the business.

We are seeking a Customer Account Representative to support Peak Industrial Group and its established network of qualified distributors and customers. Unlike a traditional cold-sales position, you will primarily work with customers who have already been vetted and have genuine product needs. You will respond to inquiries, prepare quotes, coordinate with vendors, manage orders, and maintain dependable communication throughout the process.

This is a relationship-focused position with account-development opportunities. The right person will provide fast, accurate service while identifying additional ways Peak Industrial Group can support each customer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for Peak Industrial Group customers
  • Respond promptly to inquiries about products, pricing, availability, and orders
  • Prepare accurate quotes for standard and custom power transmission products
  • Provide the fast response times expected by distributors and resellers
  • Build lasting customer relationships based on trust, responsiveness, and reliability
  • Follow up consistently on inquiries, quotes, orders, and customer needs
  • Identify appropriate alternatives or additional products when beneficial
  • Coordinate with vendors to obtain pricing and confirm product availability
  • Communicate effectively between customers, suppliers, and internal team members
  • Manage customer orders from the initial quote through delivery
  • Provide status updates and help resolve order-related issues
  • Maintain accurate account, quote, order, and follow-up information
  • Work closely with the Outside Sales Director to support customer visits, prospecting efforts, and new business development
  • Prepare quotes requested by the Outside Sales Director while they are traveling and meeting with customers
  • Create and send pricing sheets and product information to prospective customers
  • Assist with setting up new customer accounts by gathering required company and contact information
  • Help track prospective leads, recent customer visits, follow-up opportunities, and accounts that have not yet placed an order
  • Maintain organized records of outside sales activity and ensure important follow-up items are communicated and completed
  • Learn the company's technical products, pricing structure, and internal processes
  • Contribute positively to a collaborative, service-oriented sales team

Pay and Benefits
  • Full-time, W-2 employment.
  • Pay: $45,000-$55,000 base salary, depending on experience
  • Uncapped performance incentives
  • Expected total compensation of $55,000-$75,000+
