Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking a Store Associate at CHLT-STONECREST, NC to help customers create custom framing solutions and provide friendly service in a well merchandised, in-stock store.

You will process framing orders, assist customers in finding products, operate the cash register, and support omni-channel processes. Ideal candidates have basic computer and measuring skills, experience in retail, and a willingness to work nights, weekends and early mornings in a climate-controlled

Qualifications

• Job requires basic computer skills and basic measuring skills.
• Ability to operate framing equipment and glass cutter.
• Retail experience preferred; experience selling products and/or services to customers.

Responsibilities

• Build customer relationships and help customers shop in store.
• Complete framing orders with a high degree of quality and on time.
• Maintain the ready-made frame department and other assigned areas including SISO and Directed Replenishment.
• Operate cash register and execute cash handling to standards.
• Assist with Omni channel processes.
