Job summary

The Michaels Companies, Inc. is hiring for a Store Associate in the United States. You will help customers find framing products, build relationships, and create memorable framing solutions while keeping the store clean and well merchandised.

You will also support omni-channel processes and ensure accurate cash handling at the register. The role requires basic computer and measuring skills, experience with framing equipment, and a customer-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills.
• Basic measuring skills.
• Ability to operate framing equipment.
• Ability to operate a glass cutter.
• Retail experience is preferred.
• Experience selling products or services to customers.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to SOPs and Company programs to ensure compliance with laws and requirements.
• Build relationships with customers while delivering Custom Framing solutions and sales results.
• Complete framing orders accurately and on time.
• Maintain the ready-made frame department and other areas as assigned.
• Provide friendly customer service and help customers shop and find products.
• Operate cash register and handle cash to standards.
• Assist with Omni channel processes.
• Participate in truck unload and stocking to keep pace with store needs.
