Job summary

The Michaels Companies, Inc. in HartSdale, NY is hiring a Store Associate to assist customers, manage framing orders, maintain a clean, well-merchandised store, and support in-store operations.

You will follow SOPs, work the framing counter, stock shelves, and participate in omni-channel processes while delivering friendly service. Retail experience and dependable cash handling are preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and basic measuring skills.
• Ability to operate the framing equipment and glass cutter.
• Retail experience and customer service background.
• Experience selling products and/or services to customers.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to SOPs and company programs for compliance and standards.
• Build relationships with customers and deliver custom framing solutions.
• Complete framing orders accurately and on time.
• Maintain the ready-made frame department and related areas.
• Deliver friendly customer service and help customers locate products.
• Support shrink and safety programs and omni-channel processes.
• Operate cash register and handle cash to standards.
