Job summary

Michaels in POUGHKEEPSIE, NY is seeking a Store Associate to build customer relationships and create custom framing solutions. You will help customers shop, locate items, and maintain a safe, clean store environment.

Responsibilities include following SOPs, completing framing orders on time, stocking the ready-made frame department, operating the cash register, and supporting omni-channel processes to ensure a well-merchandised, in-stock shopping experience.

Qualifications

• basic computer skills and basic measuring skills
• ability to operate the framing equipment and glass cutter

Responsibilities

• Build customer relationships and provide framing solutions to customers.
• Complete framing orders with quality and on-time delivery.
• Assist customers in-store and ensure a well merchandised, in-stock environment.
• Operate cash register and handle cash according to standards.
• Support omni-channel processes and general store operations.
