Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is hiring at Michaels Stores in Texas. You will help customers find framing solutions, complete framing orders, and maintain a well-merchandised, in-stock store.

You will operate the cash register, follow SOPs, and support omni-channel processes to ensure a positive shopping experience. Ideal candidates have basic computer and measuring skills, a background in retail, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and mornings as needed.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills.
• Basic measuring skills.
• Ability to operate framing equipment and glass cutter.
• Retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to SOPs and Company programs to ensure compliance with laws and requirements; execute company policies and standards.
• Build relationships with customers while creating Custom Framing solutions and deliver sales and production results.
• Complete framing orders with high quality and timeliness.
• Maintain the ready-made frame department and other areas including SISO and Directed Replenishment.
• Operate cash register and cash handling to standards.
