Job summary

Apple Inc. seeks a Circuits Engineer to design advanced custom digital megacells (SRAM memories, on-chip sensors, ML accelerators data path) for high performance, low power SOCs. You will craft from scratch, collaborate across power, PD and architecture teams, and drive methodology for world-class silicon.

You will develop custom circuits to improve chip power efficiency, verify designs through simulations, and work with layout to ensure quality and bring-up silicon to production.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
• Experience in designing low-power custom circuits and advanced technology nodes preferred.
• Proficiency in scripting (Python/Perl) and CAD automation tools.
• Strong understanding of device physics, matching, noise sources and high-precision circuit behavior.

Responsibilities

• Develop custom circuits to improve chip power efficiency.
• Define specifications with power teams, PD and architects.
• Perform design, analysis, modeling/simulation, schematic capture, SPICE simulation, and silicon bring-up.
• Collaborate with layout team to ensure layout quality and design integrity.
