Job summary

Apple Inc. in Santa Clara, CA, is seeking a Circuit Design Engineering Lead to spearhead a custom circuits team within the SOC design effort. You will drive high-performance, low-power standard cells, coordinate with CPU/SOC/GPU teams, and guide PDV/PDK migrations to deliver cutting-edge ASICs.

You will mentor a small team, influence design choices, and collaborate across disciplines to bring silicon innovations from concept to market readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years in circuit design.
• Experience leading a small team.
• Knowledge of standard cell layout, DRM, DRC/LVS, PDV flows, Virtuoso.

Responsibilities

• Drive development of high performance, low power standard cells to improve design PPA.
• Develop optimal level shifters and retention designs for Low Power Design Requirements.
• Identify next generation ideas to drive PPA improvements further.
• Engage with CPU, SOC and GPU teams on chip level integration requirements.
• Plan and drive development of designs like new circuits and tech node enablement.
• Manage migration to new PDK, PDV of standard cells and releases.
