Responsibilities

• Maintains security of the jail and overall safety of inmates and staff.
• Takes custody of, books, and releases inmates with required procedures.
• Transports prisoners to and from facilities and courts.
• Prepares and maintains records and reports.
• Responds to emergencies and enforces facility regulations.
