Qualifications

• Minimum ninth grade education required.
• One year of custodial experience preferred.
• Physically able to perform essential duties, including lifting up to 50 pounds and climbing ladders beyond 15 feet.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Selects equipment and cleans floors in classrooms, offices, corridors and other areas.
• Uses custodial equipment such as mops, buffers, and vacuum cleaners.
• Collects and disposes of trash and supplies.
• Moves furniture and heavy items up to 50 pounds.
• Maintains clean lavatories and wash areas.
• Cleans windows and fixtures and assists in snow removal.
• Maintains lawns and playgrounds as needed.
• Responds to emergencies and other duties as assigned.
