Job summary

Pueblo Community College is seeking a full-time Custodian I to maintain a clean, safe environment for students, staff and the public on campus in Pueblo, Colorado.

The role requires six months of custodial experience, ability to handle physical tasks, and flexibility to work day or night shifts, with potential holiday work. Employment is in the Colorado Community College System with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Six months of custodial experience as the primary function of the job.
• Ability to perform strenuous physical labor.
• Willingness to work different shifts (day and/or night), including holidays if necessary.
• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and clean environment for students, staff and the public.
• Use custodial chemicals in daily tasks and maintain restrooms and common areas.
• Clean floors, walls, mirrors, and fixtures; empty trash and replace liners.
• Strip, wax, and polish floors during breaks; shampoo carpets as needed.
• Support snow removal and assist with building perimeter cleaning and minor repairs as needed.
