Job summary

Pueblo City Schools is seeking an Assistant Custodian to help maintain and clean our facilities across multiple sites. The role supports the district's mission by ensuring a safe, tidy, and welcoming environment for students and staff.

Responsibilities include disinfecting, sweeping, and maintaining restrooms, with emphasis on safety and reliable performance. Candidates should be able to pass a post-offer lift test and complete required background checks.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation required.
• Must be able to pass District designated post-offer lift test.
• Fingerprint background check and clearance by Human Resources.

Responsibilities

• Disinfect, rinse, dust, sweep, mop, graffiti removal, scrub, buff, and wax entire facility including classrooms, restrooms, hallways, gym, offices, cafeterias, auditoriums and storage areas.
• Check restroom supplies and replace as needed (toilet tissue, towels, soap, deodorizers).
