Beaverton School District is seeking a Custodian 3 for Westview High School in Portland. This is a probationary, full-time position with an 8-hour daily schedule and an immediate starting date.

The Custodian 3 will maintain a sanitary, safe facility for students and staff, assist with furniture setup for events, and provide advanced custodial and maintenance tasks across campus. The role reports to the Field Supervisor of Custodial Services or Supervisor of Maintenance Services.

Maintenance and Custodial Services Department

Purpose:

The Custodian 3 maintains an attractive, sanitary, and safe facility for students, staff, and the public; assists with furniture arrangements for meetings, classroom activities and events; and minimizes property damage, loss, and liability exposure. The Custodian 3 also provides specialized custodial and maintenance services in one or more of the following areas:

Custodial: Performs routine custodial tasks at District schools and sites. Assumes a leadership role and assists with the direction of work among peers who perform custodial duties. Site‑specific Custodian 3’s may also perform general facility maintenance and grounds upkeep.

Maintenance: Performs advanced and highly varied facilities maintenance duties at multiple District sites;

Reports to: Field Supervisor of Custodial Services or Supervisor of Maintenance Services
Indirectly reports to: Custodial Foreman, Maintenance Foreman, Maintenance Leader, School Principal and/or Assistant Principal.
