Job summary

Allegan Area ESA is seeking a Custodial – 2nd Shift at Otsego High School for the 2026-27 school year. Schedule Monday to Friday, 2:00–10:30 p.m., 40 hours per week. Starting date 2026-27; closing date until filled.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, background check upon hire, and experience with cleaning. Duties include daily classroom, restroom, and hallway cleaning, trash handling, and security checks.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Background check/fingerprints upon hire.
• Experience with cleaning and custodial preferred.

Responsibilities

• Daily classroom cleaning, including emptying trash, sweeping/vacuuming, spot mopping and locking of doors and windows.
• Daily restroom cleaning, including disinfecting fixtures, emptying trash, refilling soap and paper products, and removing graffiti and litter.
• Daily hallway cleaning, including picking up trash, emptying trash, sweeping/vacuuming hallway and entry rugs, and spot mopping hard floors.
