Responsibilities

• Clean offices, restrooms, common areas, elevators, kitchenettes, locker rooms, and a fitness center including sanitizing, dusting, mopping, glass cleaning, and vacuuming.
• Restock paper products and soap; maintain hand sanitizer throughout the facility.
• Spot clean walls; remove scuffs and stains.
• Empty trash/recycling and cigarette receptacles.
• Perform weekly, monthly, and quarterly deep cleaning tasks and exterior power washing.
• Adhere to custodial cleaning schedule; mix, use, and store chemicals per instructions.
• Store and sanitize equipment properly.
• Other duties as assigned.

ATI has a current need for a full-time Custodian for a government facility in Springfield, Virginia. This role involves working in secure environments in support of mission-critical operations.

Benefits

• Competitive pay rate; $25.30-29.87/hour depending on experience and benefits selected

• Adherence to custodial cleaning schedule
• Mix, use, and store chemicals per instructions

• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Candidates must be US Citizens
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain clearance; candidate must be able to work independently in a secure or sensitive environment
• Minimum of two years of working in the custodial field
• Experience working near senior government officials is a plus
• Excellent customer service skills
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Demonstrated ability to maintain a safe working culture
• Ability to frequently lift up to 30 pounds and adjust body position to bend, stoop, stand, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for long periods of time

Working Hours

Monday – Friday (anticipate 40 hours per week). Operating hours on-site are from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday; Shifts will consist of an 8-hour shift during those hours. Potential overtime may be necessary to accomplish scheduled deep cleanings on a monthly or quarterly basis.
