Job Overview
The Custodian provides routine and specialized cleaning support for various buildings, including sweeping, mopping, trash removal, dusting, polishing, inventory management, and general labor. The role requires maintaining supplies and inventory needs.

Pay Rate: $17.75/hourly

Work Model: Onsite

Responsibilities

• Clean interior and exterior areas of federal buildings.
• Maintain and repair custodial equipment.
• Manage supplies and inventory.
• Perform general labor and special cleaning projects.
• Properly use cleaning equipment and chemicals.
• Assist with emergency spills and incidents.
• Report repairs and maintain cleanliness of fixtures and surfaces.
• Ensure safety and security protocols are followed.
• Document work tasks as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Mandatory:

• Knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently with good judgment.
• U.S. Citizen or legal resident.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

Preferred:

• At least 2 years of custodial experience.
