Job summary

Ebenezer is seeking a Custodian to perform deep cleaning of carpeted surfaces and floor care (stripping, waxing, burnishing) within our Minneapolis senior living community. Responsibilities include supporting housekeeping and laundry staff and handling light moving tasks as needed.

This part-time position offers 32 hours every two weeks with day/evening shifts and weekends as needed, alongside a comprehensive benefits package and the opportunity to contribute to a compassionate care environment.

Qualifications

• Less than 1 year of related cleaning experience.
• Experience with mechanical cleaning equipment.
• Preferred: High School Diploma or GED.
• Preferred: 1 year to 3 years of custodial experience.

Responsibilities

• Carpet sweeping, floor sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing.
• Carpet extraction.
• Stripping, waxing, and burnishing of hard floor surfaces.
• Assists housekeeping and laundry staff as needed.
• Assists with moving boxes, furniture, etc.
• Empties and removes trash and recycling.
• Performs other duties assigned.

Job Overview

Ebenezer is looking for aCustodian,who would be responsible for deep cleaning of carpeted surfaces, stripping, waxing and burnishing of hard floor surfaces. This position may also perform general cleaning duties, all within our senior living and skilled nursing community in Minneapolis, MN.

This position includes;

• 32 hours in 2 weeks, part-time schedule, 8 hour shift length
• Day /evening shift
• Weekends as needed
