Ebenezer in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Housekeeper to join our senior living team. This role provides a clean, safe, and pleasant environment for residents, staff and visitors, with duties across public areas, resident rooms, and restrooms.

The position supports Jones-Harrison Senior Living and offers a day shift schedule, 40 hours every two weeks, and partial benefits. Responsibilities include cleaning, restocking, and assisting with events as needed.

• Less than 1 year of housekeeping experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs housekeeping duties: cleans public areas of the building as assigned.
• Vacuums floors and surfaces as needed.
• Uses wet floor signs and maintains cleaning equipment.
• Replenishes supplies including soap, towels, and toilet paper.
• Cleans windows, doors, and surfaces; ensures chemicals are stored securely.
• Cleans resident rooms and restrooms; empties trash and sanitizes areas.
• May assist with grounds cleanup and special events.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Cleans public areas of the building as assigned. This cleaning position performs all housekeeping duties consistent with the assignment sheet and supports Jones-Harrison (TCU and LTC units).

Responsibilities

• Performs housekeeping duties:
• Vacuums
• Changes water bucket or mop head as trained
• Uses wet floor signs
• Maintains housekeeping cart and closet
• Replenishes supplies - soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
• Cleans tile/walls, windows, and glass doors
• Ensures chemicals are locked up
• Cleans public areas, resident rooms, and restrooms:
• Cleans drinking fountains with disinfectant
• Replenishes supplies - soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
• Vacuums carpets
• Empties and washes waste baskets with disinfectant when needed
• Assists with emergency spills as needed
• Maintains clean linen carts
• Wears gloves at all times
• Assists with grounds cleanup when requested
• Performs other duties as assigned. This may include but is not limited to:
• Room changes
• Cleaning wheel chairs
• Assisting with special events
