Avenues Recovery Center in Prince Frederick operates a 93-bed residential facility offering detox and inpatient rehabilitation services. This role maintains cleanliness and smooth operation of the facility, performing routine custodial duties and supporting the Executive Director as needed.

Ideal candidates bring strong communication, multitasking, and time-management skills, plus a commitment to recovery principles. No formal education is required, and prior related experience is preferred.

Qualifications

Minimum of two years' related experience preferred.
If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required.
Excellent communication, multitasking, and time management skills.
Strong responsibility and attention to detail.
Dignified, honest character which models recovery principles.

Responsibilities

Maintain the cleanliness and smooth function of property and plant.
Perform routine custodial duties such as cleaning, restocking, removing garbage etc.
Provide consistent operational support as required by the Executive Director
Complete daily, weekly, and monthly checklists to ensure cleanliness and upkeep of facility
Report on all activities completed, escalating any concerns to the Executive Director

What You'll Do
