Job summary

The YMCA of Greater Brandywine in Pennsylvania is seeking a Facility Associate to support custodial operations under the Facility Director. You’ll keep the building clean and safe, performing cleaning, sanitizing, mopping, trash removal, dusting, window cleaning, and grounds keeping.

You’ll assist with room setup, snow removal when needed, report safety issues, maintain supplies, and uphold safety standards. This full-time on-site role offers benefits and opportunities for training and growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year custodial/maintenance experience preferred.
• Must be fluent in spoken and written English.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial functions as directed by Facility Director.
• Clean, sanitize, mop, remove trash, dust, wash windows and maintain grounds.
• Maintain a safe and appealing building environment for members and staff.
• Assist with room setup/breakdown and snow removal as needed.
• Report health, safety or cleanliness issues to supervisor.
• Maintain inventory of custodial/maintenance supplies and comply with safety standards.
