Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center is seeking a dedicated custodial staff member to maintain cleanliness and operational efficiency across our facility network. The role emphasizes consistent support for the Executive Director and adherence to safety and sobriety requirements where applicable.

Ideal candidates will have CPR certification, at least two years of related experience, and a track record of reliability and strong communication.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is required.
• Minimum of two years’ related experience preferred.
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required.
• Excellent communication, multitasking, and time management skills.
• Strong responsibility and attention to detail.
• Dignified, honest character which models recovery principles.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and smooth function of property and plant.
• Perform routine custodial duties such as cleaning, restocking, removing garbage etc.
• Provide consistent operational support as required by the Executive Director
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly checklists to ensure cleanliness and upkeep of facility
• Report on all activities completed, escalating any concerns to the Executive Director
