Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center in South Bend, Indiana, is looking for a Housekeeping Aide to maintain a clean and functional facility. You will perform routine custodial duties and provide operational support as needed by the Executive Director.

No formal education is required, and at least two years of related experience is preferred. Strong communication, multitasking, and time-management skills are essential, along with responsibility and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and smooth function of property and plant.
• Perform routine custodial duties such as cleaning, restocking, removing garbage etc.
• Provide consistent operational support as required by the Executive Director.
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly checklists to ensure cleanliness and upkeep of facility.
• Report on all activities completed, escalating any concerns to the Executive Director.

What You'll Do

• Maintain the cleanliness and smooth function of property and plant
