Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center in South Bend, IN is hiring a Housekeeping Aide to keep our facility clean and running smoothly, supporting a setting focused on recovery. No formal education is required, but at least two years of related experience is preferred.

If you are in recovery, a minimum one-year sobriety is required. You will perform custodial duties, restock supplies, and report concerns directly to the Executive Director.

Qualifications

• No formal education required.
• Minimum of two years' related experience preferred.
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required.
• Excellent communication, multitasking, and time management skills.
• Strong responsibility and attention to detail.
• Dignified, honest character which models recovery principles.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and smooth function of property and plant.
• Perform routine custodial duties such as cleaning, restocking, removing garbage etc.
• Provide consistent operational support as required by the Executive Director
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly checklists to ensure cleanliness and upkeep of facility
• Report on all activities completed, escalating any concerns to the Executive Director

What You'll Do
