Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center is seeking a hands-on maintenance/facilities staff to inspect and maintain multiple locations. You will assist with renovations, handle technical issues, and perform outdoor duties to keep facilities in top condition.

The role emphasizes problem solving, reliability, and the ability to multitask across tasks while maintaining a safe environment for patients and staff.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required.
• Innovative, strong worker with ability to problem solve and multitask.
• General knowledge of carpentry and repair.

Responsibilities

• Regularly inspect facility, equipment and property for defects.
• Assist with building renovations/ repairs, interior and exterior.
• Assist with technical difficulties (video calls, internet service, equipment maintenance).
• Perform outside custodial duties (gardening, snow removal).
• Complete daily, weekly and monthly checklists to ensure proper maintenance.

What You'll Do
