We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as Custodian for our Colorado Springs location. In this role, the person will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the building and surrounding grounds.

All applicants must undergo pre-employment drug screening, which includes testing for marijuana, as well as background checks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Sweeping, dusting, dust mopping, damp mopping, and vacuuming the unit, offices, hallways, and restrooms regularly, using assigned equipment properly.
• Cleaning snow and debris from sidewalks. Minor trash pick-up around the property.
• Notifying supervisor of needed repairs/replacements to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment. Vacuum air ventilation covers as required.
• Replenishing supplies in restrooms and other public areas; ensuring air fresheners are in working condition.
• Washing windows and walls as needed. Regularly cleaning and sanitizing toilets, mirrors, sinks, floors, and countertops. Cleaning and sanitizing patient shower areas.
• Empties and cleans all waste receptacles and collection cans, replenishing can liners.
• Ensuring cleaning discrepancies are addressed promptly.
• Coordinating with supervisor on supply ordering and restocking.

Qualifications

Education: High School diploma or GED required.

Experience: Prefer one year of custodial and/or maintenance services experience.

Other: Valid driver's license and insurability. Basic computer skills required.

Physical Demands

Must be able to lift and operate various custodial and maintenance equipment. Must reach, bend, stoop, push shovels, stand on ladders, etc. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.

Work Environment

Work is performed indoors and outside of the facility.
