  • Pay range: $18.00-$20.00/hr.
  • Benefits: For employees contracted for 30 hours per week or more, Thomas MacLaren School pays for 100% of the employee’s base insurance premiums (Health, Dental, Vision, Long-term and Short-term disability, Accidental Death and Dismemberment insurance, and Life insurance) for the base level coverages.No benefits are provided to employees contracted for less than 30 hours per week.
General Purpose: Support the athletic programs and events through proper set-up, tear-down and maintenance of athletic equipment and facilities: including gymnasium, locker rooms, common areas, and sports fields Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily custodial operations of the athletics facility and assigned areas; to include bathrooms, locker rooms, gym floors, entryways, bleachers, indoor and outdoor trash removal
  • Daily preparation and/or set up of athletic spaces for various sports practices
  • Sporting event set-up, support, and tear down
  • Maintenance of field and track to include mowing, weeding, fertilizing, grading, irrigation repairs and other tasks as assigned
  • Maintenance, upkeep, and cleaning of athletic equipment as needed
  • Respond to calls for athletics custodial support during shift
  • Assess, report, and respond to any athletics incidents or emergency situations in communication with the Athletic Director
  • Assess, report, and respond to evening snow removal and grounds maintenance to keep safe access athletic facilities and fields
  • Assure athletic facilities are secure at end of shift (locks, doors, lights, and gates)
  • Perform daily custodial operations including cleaning of offices, restrooms, stairways, closets, gymnasium, locker rooms, and entryways
  • Follow Universal Standard Precautions and safety protocol when appropriate
  • Maintain the upkeep of the athletics facility and furniture to include repairs, painting, and cleaning, including the management of waste disposal
  • Assist the Facility Manager in the maintenance of the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems of the athletics facility in coordination with the Athletic Director.
  • Perform routine and special project work on the athletic facilities and sports fields (ie..hanging banners, adjusting cameras
  • Attend all training as assigned by the Athletic Director
  • Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director
