Aerotek in Dallas, TX is seeking a Custodial Worker to maintain cleanrooms, offices, and production areas in a climate-controlled facility. The role focuses on daily cleaning tasks and strict adherence to procedures to ensure safety and cleanliness.

This role provides essential custodial support in a clean, organized, and climate-controlled facility that develops advanced RF technology solutions. You will maintain a safe, sanitary, and orderly environment across production, office, cafeteria, restroom, and clean room areas, helping ensure the facility operates smoothly and meets high cleanliness standards.
Sweep and dust mop cement or tile floors on a daily basis to maintain clean and safe walking surfaces.
Vacuum carpeted areas as required to keep office and common spaces free of dust and debris.
Damp mop cement or tile floors as needed, including cafeteria areas on a daily basis, to maintain sanitary conditions.
Collect and empty trash from all areas of the facility on a daily basis, including disposing of machine cuttings from machine shops.
Clean restrooms daily, including porcelain fixtures, walls, and mirrors, ensuring all areas remain sanitary and presentable.
Replenish paper towels, toilet paper, seat covers, and soap dispensers in restrooms and other designated areas as needed.
Clean ledges, windowsills, counters, furniture, baseboards, and similar surfaces as needed to maintain a neat and dust-free environment.
Follow special cleaning procedures in clean room areas, including vacuuming the complete area, mopping with a nylon mop, and dusting all surfaces on a weekly basis.
Use appropriate cleaning tools, materials, and methods to protect sensitive equipment and workspaces.
Support general clean-up and janitorial duties as required to keep all facility areas orderly and safe.
Minimum 1 year of custodial or janitorial experience.
Experience with routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal.
Ability to perform general labor and janitorial duties in an industrial or production environment.
Capability to follow established cleaning procedures, including special requirements for clean room areas.
Attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness of floors, restrooms, furniture, and fixtures.
Reliability in completing daily and weekly cleaning schedules.
Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry materials required for custodial work throughout the shift.
Janitorial, custodial, cleaning, construction clean-up, or general labor roles.
Comfort working around industrial and machine shop environments while handling trash and machine cuttings.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a broader facilities or operations team.
Strong work ethic and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.

The role follows a first-shift schedule, typically from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 or 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays as needed. You will work across multiple areas, including production floors with cement or tile surfaces, carpeted office spaces, cafeterias, restrooms, machine shops, and designated clean rooms. The environment includes industrial and technical spaces where cleanliness is critical, and you will use standard custodial tools and supplies such as brooms, dust mops, vacuum cleaners, damp mops, and specialized nylon mops for clean room areas. The overall atmosphere emphasizes order, safety, and adherence to established cleaning procedures.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dallas, TX.
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
