Job summary

The Tulalip Tribes in Washington state is seeking a Custodial Technician I to keep tribal buildings clean and orderly. You will assist with building preparation for tribal events and provide maintenance during events and help with building and equipment rentals.

A High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred; a WA driver's license is required, and a pre-employment background check will be conducted. This is a full-time position with Native Preference applied to hiring.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work independently.
• Experience working with cleaning chemicals/solvents.
• WA State Driver’s License required or eligible.

JOB SUMMARY

The Custodial Technician I is responsible for keeping and maintaining tribal buildings in a clean and orderly manner. Assists with building preparation for tribal events and maintenance during events and assist with building and equipment rentals.

COMPENSATION

$20.00 hr.

Minimum Education Required

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Minimum Related Experience

• Experience working independently preferred.
• Experience working with cleaning chemicals and/or solvents preferred.

Required Licenses/Certifications/Prerequisites

• WA State Driver’s License (Personal Auto Insurance)
• Must pass an Agility exam to determine if physically capable of performing essential job functions.
• Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment background check.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

This is a Full Time position.
