Job summary

South Louisiana Community College is seeking a Custodial Supervisor A to manage custodial teams across campuses in Abbeville and Crowley, with duties domiciled on the Abbeville Campus and periodic travel to Crowley. The role focuses on supervision, scheduling, safety, and maintaining high cleanliness standards across facilities.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in custodial, housekeeping, groundskeeping, or food service work.
• Experience supervising staff and coordinating tasks is preferred.
• Familiarity with safety protocols and cleaning equipment.

Responsibilities

• Supervises all subordinate custodians for assigned tasks and ensures equipment is available.
• Trains custodians on proper procedures and safety protocols.
• Creates and implements the Master Cleaning Schedule and revises as needed.
• Uses FMX work order system to manage custodial requests.
• Oversees custodial inventory and prepares supply requisitions.
• Ensures floors are swept, vacuumed, mopped, and maintained per schedule.
• Performs specialized floor maintenance and routine deep cleaning tasks.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
