Job summary

South Louisiana Community College seeks a Custodian 2 to maintain cleanliness across facilities on the Lafayette Campus. This probationary appointment requires at least six months of custodial experience and adherence to the Master Cleaning Schedule.

• Performs specialized floor maintenance and upkeep utilizing established protocols and industrial-grade machinery.
• Acts as the primary point of contact for the notification of janitorial supply inventory needs.
• Complete all monthly, quarterly, and annual deep cleaning tasks identified in the Master Cleaning Schedule and as assigned.

The Custodian 2 is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and custodial upkeep of all assigned spaces by the Facilities Department management.

Six months of experience in custodial, housekeeping, groundskeeping, or food service work.
