The Custodial Project Manager will lead day-to-day custodial operations, drive performance, safety, and customer satisfaction on a large contract, with on-site leadership and essential on-call responsibilities. This role requires coordinating with customers, subcontractors, and corporate teams while promoting Didlake values and inclusion.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Business, Management, Operations or related field with 3+ years of management experience leading custodial/facilities/ops, OR
• AA/AS with at least 5 years of relevant experience and supervisory responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee day-to-day operations of assigned custodial contract(s).
• Ensure services meet customer expectations, standards and contractual requirements.
• Develop staffing plans, work schedules and workflows to maximize efficiency and quality.
• Monitor KPIs, quality assurance, and trends to drive continuous improvement.
• Prepare and present operational reports for customers and Didlake leadership.
• Serve as primary contact between Didlake, customers, subcontractors and corporate departments.
• Recruit, coach and retain a high-performing custodial workforce.
• Supervise frontline supervisors and staff, providing coaching and training.
• Conduct evaluations and recommend personnel actions.
• Foster accountability, teamwork, and inclusion.
• Support employee engagement and promote Didlake values.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, safety standards and contract requirements.
• Promote proactive safety through inspections and corrective actions.
• Train employees in safe use of equipment and cleaning chemicals.
• Address unsafe conditions and stop work when hazards exist.
• Maintain required safety documentation.
• Monitor service quality via inspections and QA reviews and implement corrective actions.
• Verify cleaning meets contract specifications and standards.
• Review project status and adjust staffing to meet performance goals.
• Ensure deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
• Foster dignity, inclusion and respect in the workforce.
• Support human rights policies through training and accountability.
• Partner with Rehabilitation Services to support employees with disabilities.
• Champion Didlake's mission of creating employment opportunities.
• Complete required reports and maintain training compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
