Job summary

Didlake, Inc. is seeking a Custodial Project Manager to lead daily operations of a large custodial contract in Washington, DC. You will manage supervisors, ensure service quality, and drive efficiency while controlling costs and maintaining safety standards.

The role emphasizes on-site leadership, contract compliance, and collaboration with customers and corporate support teams to support Didlake's mission and ensure exceptional service delivery.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in business, management, operations or related field with 3+ years of custodial/facilities management.
• OR AA/AS with at least 5 years of relevant experience, federal contract preferred.
• Experience managing teams in a federal contract environment is strongly preferred.
• Experience supervising diverse workforces, including employees with disabilities, is desirable.
• Ability to respond to and stay on-site during emergencies, including snow events.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee day-to-day operations of custodial contracts.
• Ensure services meet customer expectations, standards and contractual requirements.
• Develop staffing plans, schedules, workflows to maximize efficiency and quality.
• Monitor KPIs, quality assurance, and trends to drive improvement.
• Prepare operational reports for customers and leadership.
• Recruit, coach, and retain a high-performing custodial team.
• Manage budgets and labor utilization within approved parameters.
• Maintain safety programs and ensure OSHA compliance.
