HES is seeking a Custodial Area Manager to supervise quality assurance and support night cleaning teams across East Baton Rouge Parish School System facilities. You will travel between schools to inspect work, address concerns, and ensure custodial services meet HES standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple locations during the 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. shift, with travel across the district.

Formación

• Previous custodial or commercial cleaning experience required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• Ability to travel between assigned EBR school locations during shift.
• Strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to inspect custodial work and identify safety concerns.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee quality-assurance inspections at assigned schools.
• Ensure custodial work meets HES standards and contractual requirements.
• Support night vendor cleaning teams and provide guidance.
• Communicate expectations to vendor supervisors and staff.
• Document inspection results and corrective actions; follow up on issues.
• Monitor cleanliness of classrooms, restrooms, offices, halls, cafeterias, gyms and common areas.
• Respond promptly to school or client concerns with professionalism.
• Report site conditions and staffing concerns to HES leadership.
