Job summary

Hillside Fellowship seeks a Custodial Lead to manage the day-to-day custodial care of our campus and support spaces. You will supervise contracted custodians and volunteers, directing daily tasks to keep buildings clean, safe, and welcoming for ministry activities and events.

In partnership with the Facilities + IT Team Lead, you will coordinate custodial work, monitor quality, and respond to campus needs with initiative and a servant-hearted approach, including evening and weekend

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum one year custodial/facilities experience preferred.
• Experience coordinating contractors or volunteers preferred.
• Knowledge of custodial safety procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate custodial care across Hillside’s buildings and exterior areas.
• Develop daily/weekly custodial work plans for contractors and volunteers.
• Ensure facilities are clean, safe, welcoming, and ready for ministry use.
• Coordinate opening/closing procedures and support weekend events.
• Maintain custodial supplies and equipment; ensure proper storage and safety.
• Collaborate with Facilities staff to support campus readiness and operations.
