Job summary

Charter Schools USA is seeking a Curriculum Resource Teacher to deliver curriculum training and support to teachers, assisting with implementation as directed by school leadership, including NTI support.

You will conduct ongoing staff development, perform classroom visits, report quarterly student data, and monitor programs to drive literacy initiatives and reading improvement across the district.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of K-12 classroom teaching with positive achievement impact.
• Leadership involvement in school activities and commitment to company values.
• Valid teaching certification (as appropriate).
• Pass criminal and employment background check successfully.
• Strong instructional delivery and communication skills.
• Adherence to Code of Ethics for the Education Profession.

Responsibilities

• Develops and conducts in-service training on curriculum and best practices.
• Supports NTI/Returning Teacher Orientation before/after the school year.
• Performs classroom visits and assists teachers in improving instruction.
• Demonstrates lessons for observation and trains teachers in SIS use.
• Leads grade level/subject team meetings and reads reading data for instruction.
• Reports school and student benchmark data and supports literacy initiatives.
