Job summary

The position requires a BA in Education, a teaching certificate, and at least 3 years of K-12 teaching with a track record of improving achievement. Strong SIS and Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Master's degree preferred and teaching certificate as appropriate.
• Minimum of three (3) years of K-12 classroom teaching with demonstrable positive impact on achievement.
• Possession of valid teaching certification (as appropriate).
• Demonstrated ability to use instructional delivery techniques and strong communication skills.
• Adherence to the Code of Ethics for the Education Profession.

Responsibilities

• Develops and conducts in-service training for all teachers on curriculum and instructional strategies.
• Supports school administration in NTI/RTO induction and end-of-year close-out tasks.
• Conducts classroom visitations and assists teachers in improving instructional performance.
• Trains new teachers in SIS and school-based resources.
• Facilitates grade level/subject team meetings.
• Supports reading needs and reading strategies across the curriculum.
• Analyzes and reports school and student benchmark data.
• Maintains liaisons with district and professional associations on best practices.
