Job summary

Charter Schools USA is seeking a Curriculum Resource Teacher to provide curriculum training and support to teachers, assisting with curriculum implementation and NTI week support. You will conduct staff development, classroom visits, and data reporting to drive student achievement.

Responsibilities include training on the Student Information System, leading grade-level meetings, and collaborating with administrators to address reading needs and literacy initiatives, across CSUSA schools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent.
• Master's Degree preferred and teaching certificate as appropriate.
• Minimum of three (3) years of K-12 classroom teaching with demonstrable positive impact on achievement.
• Possession of valid teaching certification (as appropriate).
• Demonstrated evidence of involvement in school activities involving leadership responsibilities and commitment to company values.

Responsibilities

• Develops and conducts in-service training for all teachers regarding the curriculum, researched-based instructional strategies, and best practices.
• Provides support to school administration in preparation for NTI/Returning Teacher Orientation.
• Performs periodic classroom visitations, assists teachers in improving instructional performance, and monitors improvement.
• Trains new teachers in the use of the SIS and school-based resources and procedures.
• Facilitates grade level and/or subject area team meetings.
• Serves as a resource to school administrators and content area teachers in identifying reading needs and implementing reading strategies across the curriculum.
• Assists with development of school literacy initiatives.
• Collects, analyzes, and reports school and student benchmark data.
• Attends CSUSA Curriculum Cadres.
