Charter Schools USA, a leading education management company, seeks a Curriculum Resource Teacher to provide curriculum training and support to teachers, assist with curriculum implementation, and support NTI. The role includes ongoing staff development, classroom visits, data collection, and collaboration with school leadership.

The position emphasizes reading instruction, literacy initiatives, and partnerships with administrators and teachers to promote high achievement across K-12 schools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required.
• Master's degree preferred and teaching certificate as appropriate.
• Minimum of three (3) years of K-12 classroom teaching with demonstrable positive impact on achievement.
• Demonstrated involvement in school activities with leadership responsibilities and commitment to company values.
• Possession of valid teaching certification (as appropriate).
• Background check clearances (criminal and employment).
• Effective instructional delivery techniques and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops and conducts in-service training for all teachers on curriculum and instructional strategies.
• Supports school administration with New Teacher Induction NTI and Returning Teacher Orientation RTO activities.
• Performs periodic classroom visitations and monitors instructional improvement.
• Demonstrates lessons in classroom settings for observation by teachers.
• Trains new teachers in SIS and school-based resources and procedures.
• Facilitates grade level or subject area team meetings.
• Serves as a literacy resource across the curriculum and develops reading strategies.
• Collects and analyzes school and student benchmark data.
• Maintains liaisons with district and professional associations to stay current on reading practices.
• Attends CSUSA Curriculum Cadres monthly.
