Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's degree and Reading Specialist Certification required.
• Eligibility for Florida teaching certification stated.
• Experience leading teachers and literacy initiatives preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducts staff development and in-service training for Reading teachers.
• Performs classroom visitations and monitors instructional performance.
• Demonstrates lessons for observation by teachers.
• Coordinates student reading assessments and schedules.
• Monitors progress and reports student data to administrators.
• Supports school literacy teams and reading program implementation.
• Liaises with district and professional associations on reading practices.
• Provides resources to teachers for improving reading outcomes.
