Meijer in Michigan is hiring a Digital Clerk to turn online curbside orders into accurate, on-time pickups. You’ll help customers quickly and courteously, verify items, scan, bag, and collect payment at the curbside lane.

This role emphasizes fast, friendly service and precise orders. You’ll work with store leadership, maintain a clean curbside area, and assist with other tasks to keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience; prior retail experience preferred.
• Past cashier experience preferred.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.
• Process-driven with the ability to follow procedures efficiently.
• Past online ordering experience a plus.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide remarkable service at the curbside pickup Meijer Pickup area through accurate order fulfillment and payment collection the carside experience.
• Greet each customer with a courteous, friendly attitude (in person and on the phone) and respond to questions and needs.
• Maintain positive working relationships with customers, team members across the store and leadership.
• Resolve customer concerns quickly by partnering with leadership when needed.
• Receive daily workflow through a dashboard and fulfill orders throughout the shift.
• Select items throughout the store, scan/verify products, and bag items appropriately using bagging standards.
• Store and stage orders correctly while following food safety guidelines.
• Keep the curbside area clean, neat, and ready for the next pickup.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
